So I need 16 new plain-jane wheel nuts for my re-finished GTU/Indy wheels.

(The nice chrome McGard ones on my GTZ wheels won't fit under the center caps.)

Where the Hell do ya buy them? CTC, NO! Princess Auto, NO! Walmart, NO!

GM would likely be absolutely ridiculous!

Having said that I am willing to spend fairly on good stuff for a set of wheels I have $1500 into.

FWIW they are M12 1.5

Ideas?

Thanx

Rock Auto sells them:

http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/chev ... g+nut,7676

You may be able to get them from Hot Spot auto too then since they deal with Rock Auto.

FYI GM wants around $17 per lug nut with the threads on them (that those original plastic caps fit onto). Please don't ask me how I know that.

And also FYI Walmart (in my town anyway) sell sets of chrome lugs for OK price, but they rust up completely within a year...really poor chroming job.

Thanx guys.
This is turning into ALOT bigger hassle than I ever would have imagined!
For stock lug nuts for Heaven's Sake.
Looks like Rock auto and wait I suppose.
Thanx again.

Pretty sure the lug nuts off other GM vehicles are the same size from cars like Grand Am's and others

Ya they are basically all M12-1.5 but I would like to get new ones.
In fact I just ordered some off Ebay.
See what they look like when they get here. For $30 I'm not expecting miracles, but Hell, they're just wheel nuts that nobody is going to see.
I get the wheels back from Polishing Depot next week but I guess they will have to sit for a couple weeks.
May look for a deal on some tires in order to keep my GTZ wheels mounted and ready to go on a whim, LOL!

Last time I wondered into a Costco they had a larger than expected set of lug nut bins in the tire department on the wall. There must have been about 30+ different sizes/types.

Thanx for the reply but the wheels are on the car, look great and the China e-bay "Focus" nuts worked just fine.
That and a set of McGards for both the wheels and center caps and I'm all set for now.
CSCS on Sunday at Cayuga and a show in Hamilton on Oct 1st and that is likely it for the year.

Thanx again for the help. :)

Try Motorcade or Napa. I've purchased GM wheel nuts before from them that have the external threads.
