OH YA!

BY POPULAR DEMAND...

Halton Hills Wild & Wacky Fun Run!!!

Intro: Lotsa twisties, quick elevation changes, awesome vistas, driver-demanding! It is not for any faint-of-heart passengers, but we do consider safety first, and ahem the rules of the road.

This one is a bit different from our typical cruises as it can be a high performance run. I've seen speed bikes do this one occassionally (and a Fiero or 2!).
It will take place through Halton Hills, Flamboro, Milton areas etc., with an optional late lunch stop at the end.

***Please make sure your lights, horn, wheels, brakes, suspension & steering are in good working order.***
Minimal breakfast & barf bags are suggested, but hopefully not required.
We do pull some g's on this one. Anyone who's done this one before can attest!

Mission: Hook up with fellow Fiero enthusiasts & fans for a very non-leisurely cruise from Caledon to Milton area, criss-crossing some really picturesque Escarpment country!

This Tour includes scenic areas, lush hill & valley areas, nature areas, fast curves, steep hills & countryside.
Parts of this route are popular with car clubs, cyclists and bikers alike. They need to watch out! (jk), let's consider to be considerate. :D
There are many curves, hills & straight open stretches on this route for all to enjoy!
Usually I also do this drive in the fall, as it is quite picturesque in September/October/early November with all the leaves swirling around in my dust.

WHEN: this Sunday September 28th, 2014
TIME: meet up at 9:00 am, depart at 9:30 am.
WHERE: we will meet up in front of the old RONA parking lot (just past the East Side Marios) at the 401 & Winston Churchill exit. (Whoever has attended the classic cruise nights on Friday evenings should know where this is.)

Official Googlemaps addy is:
3135 Argentia Rd
coords: 43.597836,-79.788716

Please be food & gas filled so we can leave at 9:30 am sharp. It's best to gas up first, then meet up.

Who's in? ...any Fiero friends you know that also have 'sports cars/motorcycles' are welcome & invited. Let's see if they can keep up.

I'll monitor the weather as the date approaches& make a final call on it on Saturday. If it doesn't happen for whatever reason, I'll reschedule it, so don't despair!

PREVIOUS CRUISES & COMMENTARY FOR THIS RUN: :D

I'd like to check this out. Since I'm Fieroless right now, I'll have to hitch a ride with cam-a-lot. Or take the LS1 powered Formula Firebird that I have. Or the GSXR 1100. Too many decisions....

Details??? My daughter has to work at noon, but I don't want to miss this one. I'm even putting off my brake job out of fear I'll screw it up and have my car off the road again. No worries, the brakes are fine with the exception of the dragging RF caliper :)

Hey Nick,
Count me in this weekend, hopefully you can find us another twisty road to tear down like a bunch of teenage morons again like we did on the Niagara tour. That was a blast!
Cheers

initial post updated with details.

iirc, duration is about 3 hrs on everage, not including any breakdowns/repairs & inspections  , or optional lunch at the end.
We do stop at least once during the run for a stretch, bathroom break etc.

Yup, that is why I am wearing my leopard skin thong tomorrow to the cruise. Pics anyone?
