July 4th is out for me... I'll be on my way back from Maui then.
I'll be going to the Wheels on the Bay in Trenton though on the 24th.. Will be my first real showing this year.

sorry I can't help with venue ideas..

ah geez maui? c'mon! priorities! ;)

anyone on the Ottawa & montreal forums etc can pls share this link, thanks.

I sent this to a guy from Ottawa I've spoken to before. Sounds like he might be out of the Fiero game at the moment. He was curious if he could show up with his '86 944. I'd imagine it won't be an issue, but thought I'd check in first.

THANK YOU. sure why not? it'd be in the re-body section.

Lol!
I've posted this event on a bunch of Facebook groups as well.

Hopefully word will get around & we'll get a very nice turnout.

It will be a rain or shine event folks.

I'm also looking to find a host hotel /motel for any overnight
out of town guests and extend the event into Sunday.

it'd be nice if some folks from there could make it down; I know they have some nice cars in PQ!

meet up picnic time start at venue will be around noonish on Saturday...to allow folks travelling from Ottawa, PQ, USA, GTA etc to get there :)

please pick up a lunch or pack a picnic lunch to sustain yourselves. This is a non-alcoholic event :(

Rock Auto & a couple of other sponsors have said they would be sending some goodies... 8-)

hello first time post. like the sounds of the meet. i don't know if the plans has been set in kingston yet. but i might make a suggestion of cornwall due to its location. center of kingston, ottawa, montreal, and american boarder. for a park in cornwall i would suggest greys creek, or the park down on the end of Second st west after Saunders dr. . there is also the old walmart parking lot off brookdale ave. just off of the old walmart parking lot would be kelsey, tim hortons, and ramada inn. i wonder if bensons auto parts would be interested in the meet since it originated here.

THANKS for the suggestions; but other location already in the works.
there are tentative people coming from Michigan, southwest Ontario also, etc so that would make it even further for them.
hope you can make it.

ta daaaaa!

Brown's Bay Park!

Google location is here: https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Brown' ... !1e1?hl=en

Park link is here for more information: http://www.stlawrenceparks.com/beach-an ... cnic-area/

There is a small (& reasonable) admission fee, about $16 per vehicle...

I do ask for any one or two of our Fiero fans that live in the vicinity & attending to get to the park as early as possible in the morning to 'allocate' a corner of the parking lot so we can at least try & all park together. (I'm still waiting for the park to tell me which parking lot & area we can be in, but they're slooooow.)

Let me know if you can as that will help. A lot of us, including moi, will be caravanning from the west GTA area and probably won't get there til a little later than opening time.

More to come!
