Big Bump. Who's all going to Carlisle? Myself and the service van with Family is going down. Luke + 1 and his Father are going down also. That's 4 vehicles so far. We're meeting up Thursday morning for 6am close to Sherway Gardens timmies. Like a head count who else is going and when are you going?


SO, who is really interested in going to Carlisle this year? Luke & myself have already booked our rooms at the Days Inn South location.

We plan on heading down early Thursday morning. Luke's coming home Sunday, while we are staying the extra day down there with the kids and coming home Monday. The show is June 23rd - 25th which is the last weekend on June. You can register at Carlisle's main page or through MAFOA's website. If you register through Carlisle, please make sure you enter yourself with the MAFOA club.

ALSO as to not get you confused, Carlisle GM Nationals is now called Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals. Guessing more Chevy's show up or the fact that Chevy is the #1 brand for cars now and GMC only makes trucks. :|

I'm not going to Carlisle (a bit far for me), but will be doing Watkins Glen again, which is also a MAFOA event

My car is still in too many pieces right now, so only show I'm focusing on right now it Carlisle. Then after that, FieroRama again this year. 8-)

Honestly, I'm not surprised. We've learned in the past to book in January.

There are many other hotels in the area. Since Carlisle is a CAR town, the hotels book fast on major event weekends. There is a Super 8 motel across the street from the days Inn south. It's not the greatest, better then other motels I've stayed at. Not much for a morning breakfast though. There is also a Days Inn North hotel we've stayed at before that's all right. It's on the other side of town and actually closer to the show.

I'm hoping to have my car back on the road by then. it's currently stripped down to the frame for a rebuild. AGAIN. :| The cold weather we had recently and this dam Flu bug going around has kept me out of the unit for most of this year so far. Can't put it back together till I paint the engine bay & front compartment, so need it above 10 degree C for that.

Yes it does, you will be sent a window sticker for your car which give you and a passenger access to the whole event. Fri-Sun
