So not quite understanding the registration process. I want to go down, park my car within the show and stroll around. Not interested in registering for a prize (not that I'd win one!). So do I just go ahead with the MOFOA registration, purchase a t-shirt within the form and make a payment? |

You have to register to park your car on the field. There is no judging, it's people's choice. MAFOA gives you a voting slip for their awards and you get a Carlisle voting slip in your goods bag. Carlisle is set up so the participants vote on other classes of vehicles along with your own class. It's voluntary so you can opt out on doing it. Carlisle awards are posted Sunday morning. You can grab your plaque and leave, or stay for the presentations and get a pic with your car. |

We're registered and booked for Saturday evening at Days Inn Carlisle South (I even qualified for a free t-shirt!). Plans somewhat changed for our Friday evening so may head into the area for Friday evening. |

Not sure what the ultimate plan will be as we still may be heading first to Pittsburgh, but will post here. At this point will try to find a nice little town close by for Friday evening, of course looking for a nice winding road to get there. Something a little off 219 most likely. Any of the county roads heading through Coudersport or Renova are incredible. |

We take the 219 down also, it's a nice drive. When you see signs telling you 10 MPH around the corner, it's a warning, not a suggestion. |
