I've owned the car since about 1985 and have stored it every winter. Drove it as a full time summer car for a while but for the past 20 years or so I doubt that its had more than 500km per year. Body and frame are excellent as I oilspray the underside, battery box and wheel wells yearly. I bought it with about 75K on it and shortly after it through a rod and destroyed the engine. GM was nice enough not only to replace the engine, but every piece that was attached to it. Since then I polish the engine bay and front trunk regularly. Exhaust and cooling system are all original and look like new. I had the rims resurfaced a few decades back and they still look like new as I don't put weights on the outside. Only issues at this point is the passenger door was repainted many years ago and has since yellowed. The headliner has been repaired as well but I'd like to get a new one at some point as the backing board was kind of falling apart.

Really nice car!!

What size tires are those? They look a bit tall.

Well done indeed! :D

I think they may be stock, but we've all likely forgotten about our stock wheel well gap, lol!

Yep, stock 215-60R14s.

And still got the original 3 number/3 letter licence plate from that era. Thats how they all were until they ran out of combinations.

I thought it was old enough to be 3 letter/ 3 number. 8-)

OK, OFF TOPIC!!

How old do ya want to get?

My '69 Swinger was "DGE 069"

And my '74 Duster 360 was "PLY 360".

Now I have "MUSBNUTS" on my Beretta.

Still a really nice Fiero!
;)

I have two badges still from my dad's old 73 duster and the gas cap. The Duster replaced his old Dart after one of his friends rolled it on the Simcoe off ramp in Oshawa. 8-)

Yay, another 1984 4 cylinder in white! I thought I was alone in this world...

The car looks amazing Andrew...great work keeping that engine compartment looking like new. One question - how"s the front main seal?

Sorry for the delay, the main seal is good. But the engine really doesn't have a lot of Ks on it. I've had two instrument clusters in it because the odometer stopped working at some point. I'd guess the factory motor probably has no more than 50K on it though.

I have a parts cluster from a late 80s trans am that had a broken odometer. It was a small plastic gear that broke - whatever type of plastic it was made from, it just disintegrated and all the others were fine.
