Photobucket has stopped all free 3rd party hosting. You now need a yearly subscription to have them host your picture and hot link them to forums. ALL my pics hosted from photobucketon this forum are now blocked. I've been using them for over 10 years now and have noticed a steady increase is spam & ads on there site to the point I stopped using them and went to Postimage.

If anyone else is using photobucket, it's time to look elsewhere for another free server. :(

Very nice sticky! I use imgur to host my photos, they have not shown any signs of charging the user base.

Photobucket has singlehandedly destroyed the internet. It has been the goto image host for decades and just about every forum across the web used them. Try and research anything on your favourite forum, including Pennock's. and you will only find "Image not available" wherever images should be. I have no problem if Photobucket needed to start charging, but they should have maintained what was already posted and started charging on a go forward basis. Kind of like a bank introducing a new service charge and freezing your account until you agree to pay it. Screw them.

And the hosting charge they want you to pay now is pretty high...can't remember exactly but in the 100s per year.

Anyone use Fotki?
