First, thanks for this forum! Sites like these have been very helpful with getting my car up and moving...

Anywho; I have a 2m4 coupe that didn't come with the Aero package. I would like to add it, but have no idea where to begin, or even if it makes any sense to do this versus looking for a Fiero that has what I want already on it. I was told there is a guy near me that can help with these things, but have not had any luck locating anybody here in Peterborough.

So basically;

Anyone know who I'm talking about ('cuz I don't)?
Anyone got/seen a notchback with aero for sale?
Add Aero vs. buying a different car?

Again, thanks much!

Adding Aero package is a fair bit of work but worth it in the end, basically you need all the parts not just what you see the egg shell bracing behind the bumpers and mounting hardware as well as the portion along the bottom of the doors and the rocker panels to make it all match up.
There is a few people in the Peterborough area that should be able to help you out, I even end up in town every now and then getting parts and visiting friends.

As an alternative, if yours is a pre-87, securing the SE fascias on both ends, adding a classy wing and nice wheels has a nice look.

Leave it the way it is. Notchies look way better without all the aero stuff. If you want' all that stuff, look for a GT. Would probably be cheaper.

Can't find a notchback Fiero GT/SE that doesn't have a totally jacked-up price... :(

Sure, if you have the time. What wreckers, though? Is the car itself pretty bad off?

In the Fiero Parts for Sale section of this site, there are 2 offerings of GT parts - the lower parts of which would be compatible with what you are requesting.

There is a guy in Peterborough with a bunch of Fieros. His name is Tom. He is near the Canadian Tire in the north end. I am pretty sure he will have most, if not all the parts you need. Bringing such large parts across the province is too expensive- probably better to wait it out until one comes available near you. Fieros are still pretty common, except for 88 and Indy models. He is on Daniel Street. Look for a large house, brown siding, with a large shop attached to the house with a huge garage door.
