I need some help here. I have access to a 3800 V6 complete with pcm and harness. I'm wondering how much it would cost me to get it made up to work with my 87 gt? What all is involved and what all would I need to provide ie both pcms and both harnesses? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check on Pennock's. There are tons of threads about guys doing 3800sc swaps.

There are some diagrams here - http://www.gmtuners.com/files/index.htm on how to take one Fiero harness and one 3800sc harness and turn it into 1 Fiero 3800sc harness :)

get a good soldering iron, lots of heat shrink, then follow the diagrams and work with one wire at a time or buy one already done from some one like me. Dan

It's a non super charged 3800. What would you charge me for a harness already done? If I wanted to attempt it myself am I using the fiero or the donor pcm?

I charge $400 per harness. T make the harness all you need from the Fiero engine harness is the engine portion of the C203 and C500 connector with lots of wire to work with. The C203 is the half black half white one near the Fiero ECM inside the console and the C500 is the one over by the battery.
The 3800 harness is completely disassembled then put back together running the wires from each connector back to the PCM. The wiring is not too bad as long as you take your time and follow the diagrams. the cleaner you make the harness the nicer it will look in your car.
If you decide to have me make it I also supply a programmed PCM at no extra charge.

So if I purchased a harness from you is it basically just plug and play? I'm lost on this whole cross wiring harness issue. Is it the donor PCM running the engine or the fiero PCM.? Or is the fiero PCM only hooked up to control things like the mil or fuel pump etc?

Fiero ECM is removed and the donor PCM controls every thing and yes my harnesses are plug and play just instal add battery cables and wiring is done. The matching PCM is programmed so every thing works properly including the check engine light and all gauges

If you get the harness and PCM from Dan, it's pretty much plug and play.
