Hello fellos Fiero enthusiasts!!
I am in the process of re-building and swapping my first 3800 Series II into an 85 Fiero GT. Oh yeah and to further complicate the matter I've decided to convert my notchback into a fastback...lol. I am pushing my recollection from high school tech classes to the max. So far I have managed to pull off the rear clip, grind and cut out all the rust front to back, rust prime + paint entire frame, pull a 3800 Series II from a 199 Buick regal GLS, build a hybrid f23 transmission and fabricate some new frame rails.
I have hit a bit of a brick wall with the fabrication of mounts as I have limited welding experience. I am hoping that someone can help me with the motor and transmission mounts, alternator and cable brackets. Either that they fabricate them and can sell them to me or could take me on as an apprentice to learn how to weld. Ive purchased a 70A flux core welder and have the frame rails all ready to be welded back onto the frame. I am also in search of maybe a used flywheel and clutch that will work with my set up?
Thanks a bunch
Andre
