Finally got one of my Gen 2 motors in and working. Man, they are a lot easier to work with than the Gen 1! Also a lot quieter and about 1/3 faster up/down.

For all you guys that already have Gen 2 motors I know this is old hat, but it's pretty exciting for me! :lol:

OK, for all of you who may have read this and snickered because they know the driver's side is a piece of cake compared to the passenger motor.... all right!

It took me close to 4 hours counting the drilling out of the broken screws holding the motor together, the trip to Home Hardware for teeny tiny nuts, bolts and lock washers, and searching around my dining room floor for missing springs. Finally, it appears I am all done (touch wood)
