In the middle of my suspension overhaul, and I went to Canadian Tire thinking I would pick up a pair of front shocks. I was apparently thinking wrong, the guy says they don't have them. Where can I pick up a pair, and any recommendations? I've got Monroe Sensa-tracs for the back, and I'm putting on Eibach lowering springs.

Thanks in advance!

Dam, news to me. I picked up some KYB's last year while I was down in the states. They still make them & sure they can be ordered in from any supplier. Someone has got to be able to still get sensa-trac still. Rock Auto still lists all three brands of Monroe's as available. Could order from them if you have too.

I ordered my monroe front shocks from Rock-auto. They were cheaper even shipped than what I could get locally. As a plus I ordered brake pads cheap too from the same supplier.

Actually that may have been what made it cheaper (everything with the combined shipping). Can't remember now, they were one of the first things I did.

Adam,

Did you find the KYB in stock down south? I was just looking at the Rock Auto site, and they list for about $68 for the pair (KYB Part # KG4538 Gas-A-Just
). Even with shipping that's a bit under $90 to my door, but I'm going to be going down to Lewiston some time next week to pick up my strut mount plates, so if there's a place I can pick them up while I'm down there, all the better! The Monro Sensa-trac are $57 each at Parts Source, so even if I do end up paying shipping, Rock Auto is way cheaper.

Anybody see any issue if I get the KYB for the front while running the Monro Sensa-trac struts on the back?
