Salutations, comrades of the Fiero.
I have purchased, much to my extreme delight, an '85 Fiero Special Edition 4-speed V6(with a whooping 189k).
I have been informed my Fiero sat underground for 5 years, reactivated and driven for another year, then chilled for another year and a half before I came along and rescued its glory.
Common sense tells me to, in order:
1) flush coolant
2) change engine oil
3) grease the joints, acceleration wire(sits on 1.5k idle), grease clutch, etc etc
4) Flush gasoline , its a year and a half old
5) change headlight motor on both sides
6) alignment
7) storage for winter
Interior roof cloth needs some heavy TLC , which is np.
In all honesty, once those 3 have been completed, I just turn it on and go. Obeys my command to fire up on single try. Perhaps a nice cleaning of the engine will do me justice too.
Am I missing something perhaps? What else can I do to ensure it is resurfaces to its all-time glory.
Anything helps!
p.s I will post pictures
