Hi, I have new outer dew wipes for my Fiero. How difficult is it to replace?

Remove the door panel, and the 2 end rubbers at the window. Then you should be able to see all the screw holes... except one that is hidden behind the window.

If you're using normal tools, that one screw is near impossible to get out. I ended up using a pair of long-nose pliers to get it... took forever, and I didn't put it back in.
On the other door I already had it apart to replace the glass, so it was really easy to install the wipe.
Rodney Dickman makes a screw driver that is small enough to get between the glass and dew wipe. Think someone in the GTA has one if they're willing to share.

Check this out. It gives you a picture tutorial and some good tips. Best one I found so far:

Good luck.

or you can weld a small screwdriver bit to a longer, thin enough, rectangular handle...

Aaron88 posted while I was typing, Nick too!
If you go to this thread on Pennocks Fiero forum and actually follow the instructions there :- http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/070656.html
You don't need any special tools and it is not difficult to get all the screws out with an ordinary Philips screw driver because following these instructions allows you to move the window out of the way.
I've done it. It works.

I ended up cutting a Philips bit down and using a 1/4" flat socket wrench removed the screw. Easy-peazy.

I replaced mine and had to modify a phillips bit to get at the screws without touching the window. Little patience is all it takes. When I installed them I did a little modification to them. On all the holes except for the mirror, I cut the metal below them. I set the screws back in place first with a couple threads to hold them in place and slid the new dew wipe over the screws. I didn't have to fumble around trying to hold the dew wipe in place while trying to get the screws in the holes. ;)
