I just got a braided egr tube and was wondering. The new tube has a smaller diameter and larger diameter openings. Which one goes where? I didn't receive instructions with it so I'm not sure. The one that came off seems the same diameter on both ends. Thanks for the help

The end with the pin hole in the end of the tube goes on intake.

That's what I figured. So it's got a new egr tube, egr valve, plenum gaskets, plugs wires cap rotor and it still runs like crap.
Symptoms include idling at 1700 or higher. Give it throttle and it bogs out and then catches. I can hear a wicked vacuum leak on the drivers side. Only thing I haven't replaced is the throttle body gasket as it looked mint. All the vacuum lines look good and so to the elbows/joiners. Any ideas?

Bummer,
If you here a hissing, check the lines again for cracks. Also remove the IAC and clean it out with some brake cleaner. Maybe remove the throttle body and give it a good cleaning too, IAC mighty not be closing fully.

I put small orifice end at EGR and runs fine. Does it matter and where is this documented? The OEM tube had no restrictors?
