Still trying to figure out why I've got this rough idle, from around 500 RPM, almost stalling, to about 1500 RPM. It's throwing a MAF code. I've heard that the best thing to do is unplug the MAF and if the idle levels out you know it's the MAF. Problem is, when I unplugged the MAF, the car just stalls. I've tested the MAF using some procedures I was pointed to from Pennock's, and things are pointing toward the MAF being bad (I cleaned it with brake cleaner after following some bad advice). So the thing is, do I drop almost $200 on a MAF sensor based on the tests, or do I look somewhere else based on the fact the car wouldn't idle without it?

BTW, how do I clear the codes so I know I'm getting new ones and not just what was left in memory?

The MIL codes are due to your led lights in the dash and I have a few spare MAF sensors if you need one. Only clean a MAF with the proper cleaner or you will damage it.
