Only the struts are the same, springs and cap are different. You could go coil-over if you're looking for an improvement.

Wondering if they are the same. An 87 is being parted out around the corner and blu still has the 4cyl setup which although has an nice cushy ride, makes for some interesting corners. |

Thanks. My ride height is fine, just seems to dive and wander a bit out back whilst cornering so hoping that new struts will do the trick. Now coil overs ... hmm. Any part numbers or suppliers I can refer to? |

Hey Big B. Look at page 13 of the "What did you do to your Fiero today" thread. About 7/8 of the way down you will see what I did. I used brand new struts, cut them up and made my own coilover set-up. Very easy to do. Sorry, I don't have part numbers handy. I just had a bunch of parts laying around and recycled them into the end result seen on that thread. |
