rpm; 2500rpm = 100kph ?? (3.4 auto) , rpm's appear high

that seems high. my 2.8 sits at 2500 at 125kph

What specific transmission is in the car (source year/model for transmission)

Original 86 Fiero 3 spd. Per my internet search, the 3.3 final drive will result in rpm observed. I am not inclined to install an overdrive tranny. Thanks.
