First things first. Lets tear it apart...This is my first project the supercharger

After taking it apart and hours of scrubbing it was ready for some paint

Then some red metalcast and clear

After replacing the sc cog and some more paint time to reassemble

Much better

So I lost a bunch of pics during the block buildup but this is what I did. I tore everything off down to the block for inspection and cleanup. I spent countless hours with a wire brush and cleaners cleaning all components of the engine to get them ready for paint. I will be going mild on the upgrades at this point to make sure everything is sound before pumping even more money into it. I found no signs of any problems other then some leaks. Like mentioned previously there are only 135,000km on this engine. I replaced every gasket and seal on the engine. I replaced the timing chain and dampener. I also replaced the water pump. Time to reassemble!

I like the red silver and black combination. I used hi temp brake caliper paint and baked most parts in the oven.....The wife loved that! Smells like @#$% lol

I ordered poly tranny and engine mounts from Rodney Dickman to go along with this custom 1/4 inch u shape engine mount... Way better then the ones from West Coast Fieros that only support one side of the engine.

I ordered an aluminum flywheel and stage 3+ clutch from spec. Mated the engine and tranny on the cradle. Also installed my new powerlog manifold and ported rear along with my ceramic coated crossover all from zzp.

Time to upgrade the fuel pump. I went with the Delphi FEO114. Its a direct fit so no problems going in. Its used in GM 5.7l trucks so it will deliver plenty of fuel.
This is how a refrigeration mechanic empties a fuel tank lol....why not.

if your tank is still out, I'd give it a paint job of POR 15 or Undercoating paint. I gave mine two coats of undercoating last time I removed mine, just for safe measures.

PS, love the princess auto dolly, you will get about 10 engine removals before it breaks then use the wheels to build a new dolly the shape of the cradle.

Time for a test fit. still have some stuff from the 2.8 to remove but that can wait. At this point I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel :)
