Have been thinking about selling my first car. Looking for offers on it! I have many dreams for it and lots of parts but haven't made the time to do anything with the car.
5 years ago the engine (2.5L) was removed and fully re built by a custom engine builder in Toronto. All new parts, molly rings and pistons, bored, tunnel ported and polished head, custom intake, EGR delete, new high performance wires . This is a very powerful engine now and performs extremely well. Engine has 2000km on it. Fires up right away and has been stored properly and started now and then.
Custom black paint, fender vents, 18" rims, red and black leather interior and new carpets. All suspension components are new (bushings, sway bar links, ball joints, tie rods, calipers, shocks etc.) Battery relocate to front of the car. Other things have been done as well. Car was a 2m4 converted and all body rust was repaired while panels were off.

I think you might be hard pressed to find anyone here that will pay 5k for a 2.5 base with a GT body conversion. Not worth much unfortunately, even with a rebuilt engine sorry

She is a nice looking car might help if you have pictures of how rusty she was and how the repairs were made to give an idea of condition of car now, sort of a how the car was built display.
Unfortunately I would have to agree your asking price is a bit high which is sad cause a paint job alone now can cost more then your asking price giving your car value but people buying don't see things that way and no matter what you do to the little duke short of using the Indy pace car super duty engine just does not have the power of other engines being swapped into our little cars today.

That's unfortunate really. Completely understand the evaluation however the salvageable parts are worth more than that. Just the rims, tires, engine and interior is worth over $5000 to someone building a car today. You can't get it done for that price.
Anyway I'll keep looking but yourprobably all right. Just trying to swallow loosing the car in the first place let alone at a terrible price. (Based on what was spent).

Anyone interested at $3500 on factory rims?
Also have tones of parts. V6 transmission, fenders, trunk etc.
