The C500 to computer is ALSO 90% of the harness inside the cab. Don't think you need that side, it mainly goes to the dash and power feeds for various items.
The engine harness goes to the ECM.

Looking for a duplicate harness engine to C500 and C500 to computer for my upcoming 3800sc transplant. I hope to keep blue running right up to plug and play. May as well request this in hopes that I can grab one from this weekend's gathering. |

Hmm. I thought the engine harness went to the C500 connector and from there to the computer. As you say though, I forgot that the "main" portion runs straight into the computer and only a portion to the C500 ... I guess that's why they pay you the big bucks !! |

harness is basically a stand alone harness with the PCM hard wired in, the C203 and C500 is the two connection points to the rest of the car for things like ignition power, starter wiring, gauge feeds etc. The same connector as our c203 was also used in a lot of other gm cars of the same era including trucks and some of the same era cars also had the same as the C500 but up front. the C100 in the fiero up front is also the same connector as the c500 |
