Is the radio/heater control bezel going with the interior? I'm looking at putting in a double din deck and would like to have a backup in case I fail miserably :)

if you are reffering to the center skeleton which the radio/ heater control screwed to, it's still in the car and previous owner damaged it while installing an aftermarket radio. It might be better used to make your double din set-up.

Hey X-thumpr-X What shape are the axles in? I dropped by standard Auto Wreckers but to look at their cars axle but the axle looked a mess and the axle nut was so rusted I passed on it. Seeing this car has 340,000 Kms would they also be past there life? If I can't find axles for a standard Fiero for my swap what do I do? Can you get custom axles made?

Hello
Made progress with the tear down today, but I recently had a set back on another vehicle. Ebrake on my GTP gave out last tuesday & it looks like I need to do a full rear brake job on it. Now I need to come up with cash for this, $300  in parts with me doing the install. Hate to ask what GM would charge to do this when I priced my parts from Rock Auto.

Most of the items I haven't worried about an $$ for but list of items I would like to see some money for:

Axles; they look like they have both been recently replaced
Calipers are in good shape, brakes must like be recent before pulled off the road
Transmission: vehicle drove fine around my unit & been told the clutch was recently replaced. (Clutch, master & slave can go with it)
Cradle (will inspect first to make sure it's in good shape after drivetrain removed)
Lower rad support ( once I have the D-plate off I will have a better look at it but front of car looks in good shape beside bumper)
Gas tank
front cross member ( willing to pull it off in once piece less the front rotors)

Front of this car was very well kept and properly under coated, to bad the rear had to be in such bad shape, car was rear ended, trunk caved in and looks like they didn't properly uncoat the rear of the car since the accident.

A few of these item have recently been asked for & I haven't had a chance to post this up yet before people started enquiring.

My unit is here, but make sure you get a hold of me first to make sure I'm there ;)
I will be there tuesday morning for roughly 9am to continue dismantling and cutting.

Z custom, you can have the shifter & cables, tell you though a previous owner decided to glue the knob in place for some reason.
