I currently have an 86 SE sitting in my storage unit. The owner wanted the upper rails rebuilt, but found a lot more cancer in what left of the trunk and lower rear rails. I explained this to the owner and he just flat out said the cars is yours if it's too much $$ to fix, strip it down, cut it up just get rid of it then. :o I will be talking with him some more tomorrow face to face, and if his decision still stands, I will have a parts car up for grabs.

Willing to strip it down and sell of what people would like of the car if it doesn't stay in my unit too long, unless someone wants the whole car right now. He paid way too much for the car.

1986 SE
4 speed muncie (clutch recently replaced so we'v been told)
2.8L V6 340,000 km's looks 7 sounds all original, no blue or black smoke out tail pipes just condensation (white) from sitting awhile)
tan interior in good shape except for driver seat. dash has no cracks
center console has cracks
All body panels

Claims put in for parts:

Exhaust
driver door skin
decklid
full interior (pending)
Front hood
Driver side front fender
Wheel liners
quarter panels

Due to recent weather, my plans to have the car gone by yesterday failed. What left of it is still in storage, plan on finishing the job up by tuesday.

That's quite the deal if it stands.

Body colour? A/C? Power options? Cruise?

They are painted on the car. Put your items on the list. ;)

prices or freebies?
How are the sail panel windows and lower panels?
Centre gauges if not going with the interior. Wheel liners, mainly rear.

I was given the car, so not gonna try to make any money off of it even in my current situation ( yeah, laid off again  ) Only reason why I got time to help out others with thier fieros right now. :D

Think the sails are in ok shape, missing the pontiac logo's as usual. Didn't break either when I removed them. No claim on the wheel lines if you want them, gauges will be with interior (sorry)

If anyone wants something, I will be there tuesday & wednesday with a friend or two dismantling for sure. Car will be going to scrape yard in sections again.

That sucks about the layoff..

Here's my shopping list:
Sail Panels, Wheel linings, Lower quarter panels, Front springs, MAP sensor
Ground FX?, Decent door seals?, Tail lights?

I know it's a few things, I've got plans.

Hey Sarge: Tail lights have paint on them, might be able to glean them off with some elbow grease. I'll check the door seals to see what shape they are in. Lower groundFX I'll be keeping for now. Have a few MAP sesors lying around if need a couple ;) hopefully front springs come out easy.

Net Cam, not sure what condition the window is in. Never taken a window out before, just the whole door. :D

When will everyone be able to pick up parts? :ugeek:

If it's just paint on the lights, I can deal with that.
The window is 'fun' to take out and reinstall. Need to remove some rivets and such in the glass itself.. then nuts and bolts to put the stops back. Plus the steps shown in the other thread to remove the dew wipes. At least thats how I did my replacement.

Let me know when things will be available, and I could make a trip out there one night, or next weekend. If you bring the parts to your place I can get them easily some night.
