Post subject:  Shifter WANTED
I'm just looking for the stick only for a 5-speed.

It is my understanding they will "almost" work on a FWD Getrag application, and will allow a screw on shift knob, as opposed to the stupid push on blob thing I am stuck with now.

So if anyone has one kicking around, give me a shout?

I'll be removing the original shifter from my 87GT. Note that the Fiero shifter has a bend in it that might not jive with your Beretta.

I don't have a garage, so I won't actually be removing it until spring.

Ya I'm aware of that.

I e-mailed Rodney Dickman about a Fiero shifter working on a FWD application and he "couldn't remember" what his testing had concluded.

However some FWD guys have said they work just fine. Go Figure, LOL!!

I'm in no rush. Too cold here in Hamilton to go near the damn car.

I just removed the original shifter today. It's yours if you still want it.
