hey all,

I just need to borrow a local set to do a safety.

... they do not need to be in good condition at all, can be slightly cracked/delaminated etc but do need to be mountable.
(honestly, I prefer them NOT to be mint, lol!)

I can pick them up & return them to you.
timeline within the next couple of weeks if possible...

thanks.

Nick

Do you have the bolts?

I can lend you mine temporarily, but they're the actual ones from my car, so I'd need them back for when the weather gets nice again.

Also, I'm in London, so this might be a less preferable option than somebody more local.

Hey Nick, you should talk to Luke, he's out your way. Didn't the car come with lights?

1st of all, thank you!

that works well too because the car's safety is to be done in London!..... so I can pick them up...and then returned soon after :)

are the bolts not the same as the ones used in the notchies setup?
I'm not sure now lol...might be safer to borrow those as well...

I don't think the bolts are the same. I also have a mint set you can borrow, but if they get damaged, I will place a Voodoo curse on you!! May you be stranded on a deserted island, smothered in peanut butter... chased around my hungry morbidly obese grandmothers!!!

I have a set that are not perfect but spares so no hurry to get them back or you can give them to doubleC4 after if he still needs them. The screws are quite a bit longer though.

That works. Only reason I ask about the bolts is I took the lights out of my car with the intention of cleaning them up (hasn't happened), but left the bolts in the car so I wouldn't lose them. Since I don't have a garage, there's a bit of snow between me and the bolts (at least the car is covered...)

Where are you having the safety done?

Nick,

I have a set and the screws you could borrow. Come by and you can pick up the "mystery box" that I have here for you as well.

WOW, thanks all for your support. that's why I love Fiero peeps!

good thing I learned about the bolts not being the same.
and the potential curse! (i'll pass on the mint ones lol, just in case!)...gawd that's all I need!!!

seq, i'll see to borrow the whole set from the Lunatic, lol, that way you don't have to snow dig for the bolts. I do appreciate the offer :)
Dan, thank you. i'll do the local thing first but will c u in the spring after you dig & thaw out from up there!

safety is being done by our long time fiero friend Pete in London (aka Pete & Becky) since he knows our cars so well :)

pms sent!

Nick

as it turns out, I do need a set of fastback length taillight screws for the taillight panel project...any one have a spare set?

...if not I may need to make up some modded long bolts or something...

thank you
