I was browsing what other Fiero clubs and groups have planned for them in 2018 and many are quite active. If anyone is interested I think we should organize a monthly group meetup. The 2017 September Barrie fiero show and shine was an amazing event in this community and we can definitely build upon that. I know we can have a lot of people interested in sharing tips and tricks and stories from the Fiero universe.

If there is a group interested we need to discuss a meeting place, an acceptable time and monthly day that will work for most of us.

Summertime weekends work for me so long as they are in the GTA.

monthly meet would be a great idea, but it's gonna be hit and miss for many. The old club used to have one every 3rd Tuesday of the month and the Fiero Shop. afterwards we would go out for dinner at a local Greek restaurant. Unfortunately both the shop and restaurant have since closed down. :(

So much traffic now, thinking weeknight might will be out of the question these days, unless it's a Friday night late meet & dinner. But only advantage to weeknight, best bet most will be around that time of the week. Come summer, a lot of people are away on weekends.

I'd say we need a poll to see which night would work for everyone/ most people.
Then we need to see where to have one. If we could meet up at a local cruise night somewhere, that would be a bonus too 8-)

Thumpr all excellent points. I think the hardest part is finding a meeting place that works for everyone and a time that can be reasonable for many. Like what you suggested lets figure a day/time that works for us and then we can hammer out a location. A GTA location in North York would be in my perspective fair more central and reasonable for everyone. We could always change meeting spots as well. Ive seen some of the other clubs and group videos on youtube have meetings in dealerships, do you think a gm dealership would let a car group use their boardroom or place to have meetings? When my dad was in the Corvette club in Hamilton they met at a GM dealership every month or so- we can always just meet at a restaurant - i think we need a new greek hangout.

I'm in for Fridays - Sundays (works best for me) - preferably in the evening.

Since you all missed me SO MUCH...I am back!

I vote for Hwy 7 and 400 area, since it is nice and centrally located, lots of large parking lots (by Ikea, etc), restaurants, Dave and Buster's etc.

Will most likely have a pig roast or BBQ again this summer and maybe do a cruise through Simcoe County backroads toward Collingwood/Wasaga?
