Fiero experts....

So I have decided to do a altezza taillight conversion (prelude) on my fastback project. So I’ve got all the hard work done of maintaining the Pontiac emblem, carefully cutting the lense, clip, and securely fastening them only to be stumped by the wiring.....$&)@.

I’ve done my best to follow the GT tailight wiring diagram I have combined with the wiring diagram in the link attached but they are not working ...can someone help!!!! It would be great if someone could break it down like blk/brn/red to grn/yel and blk. etc.

Thanks
Andre

Subtle differences be between years & models. Hopefully you've figured it out by now, but I do have a couple of manuals here and lots of wiring diagrams on the net.

your link goes to prelude wiring, you need to start off with Fiero schematic. Are you using fastback tail light harness or Notchback? they are completely different when it comes to wiring.

have a wiring diagram for a Fastback http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000001/HTML/20130314-2-118636.html , connecting to the attached. Two bulbs that are supposed to be signal/hazard remain on constantly...thinking it is a bad ground? Could bad ground for harness cause this? I do have a ground attached to the upper frame rail (passenger rear). The only change I could get is when I initiated the turn signal on the steering column the opposite light would go out? Did i mention I hate electrical...lol

Two lights for each side for turn signal and hazards. The only reason they would stay on is if a bulb is burnt out. That normally happens when a front bulb is burnt out. Did you cut and splice the wiring for the tail lights?
