Previous owner swapped a quad 4 from a 1990 Beretta into my Fiero and it is cracked. I’ve phoned a local wrecker and they didn’t find any in Ontario listed in their database. Does anyone have any sources for a replacement head? Wondering about trying a different generation of quad 4 head but that might mean different intake and exhaust manifold s at which point I might as well just buy a donor car and swap the whole motor. There Was a wide range of performance options available but who knows what is left.

If I’m going to do that should I go all in and swap a different motor?

I think the transmission is a Getrag/Muncie from the Beretta, anything interesting bolt up?

I’m building this for a competition where the limiting rule is money so I am looking for the most performance per dollar. The “easy” button of sending my head to be professionally welded up isn’t a viable option here and removing and reinstalling valve seats doesn’t look very DIY.

Thanks
Thomas

If you could find someone with a US address, it would help with your shipping costs, but ebay is your friend ...
