Hey guys it's been a while.

Just spotted a White 86 GT auto at Kenny upull hamilton!

It was not in the yard yet however they let me pick some parts on it. They moved it to the yard for me. It is officially hitting the yard tomorrow!

86 GT (fastback)
auto
Tan interior
White exterior with red front aero bumper and right fender
both quarter windows are cracked
interior is nice, small rip on drivers seat the passenger side is nice
decklid with spoiler and recall weatherstrip
front aero bumper cracked by license plate frame
borla exhaust tips, could not see the muffler
engine looks clean
both front side markers are cracked

I took the following
Tail lights
rear marker lights
horn button
1 headlight relay
holley side scoop
passenger side rain gutter for the roof

it's a large chain. They are pretty good on price for the most part. Google Kenny u pull and you will find their price list and address, there is only one in Hamilton.

I paid $109 tax in for the stuff I listed above.

I would have taken the wheels but at just under $40 a pop they were more than I could afford for something I had no immediate need for. Spoiler is $20, decklid is $40.

if someone could grab me the tan plastic seat belt covers on the upper seat belt bolt I need those! I would take the B pillars as well if they are not cracked around the screw hole on the door!

The left tail light has 2 cracks but still looks good, no de-lamination or separation in the crack. The right side is in really good shape, small surface scratches that will probably buff out and no de-lamination.

I only checked one trunk corner that was rusty but not through the metal yet. I did not look under the car. This car was probably driven in, it wasn't in bad shape at all. I'm surprised they didn't sell it whole like they do with some other cars but it was already decontaminated when I got to it and they don't sell cars that hit the yard.

The car is on their site now as available so go quick or it will get picked over quickly.

What a shame. Could of been saved. Guyfer had a nice 86 4 cyl that Joe repaired way back... it was a running car too they scrapped it.

Ha, I was actually there first thing Thursday morning for parts for my TDI beetle. Saw it right away and grabbed a few things. MINT ashtrays.. lol. Came back on Saturday morning and grabbed the spoiler, speedo (mines in miles) and a bunch of little things. Engine still mostly there and in nice shape. Cat has been removed but muffler looks in good shape as well.

Note, anyone looking for lock set.. keys were in car (actually in trunk).. so you can pull both doors, trunk, and steering column and have a set.

I was hoping to make it down this weekend to pull wiring harness and connectors but that isn’t going to happen. Maybe next weekend.

was there on Thursday and not much good left on it then, the rear fast back clip has been damaged and interior mostly pulled apart with gauges already gone as well as C203, C500 and C100 gone. brake pedal removed as well as shifter and cable. tan interior is in decent shape and mostly there as well as steering column. keys are gone along with deck lid lock cylinder and exhaust is also gone. they were nice to deal with and prices very reasonable.

Im curious why someone will take a shifter cable...its pointless. 30 year old cables melt and become hard to shift. Rodney Dickman cables are the way to go!
